"How much does a great teacher affect a young child's life? Well, according to a 2010 Harvard study: 320,000 dollars per year. The study looked at 12,000 Tennessee children, now in their 30s and found that- all other thing being equal- students with a strong kindergarten program were more likely to go to college, more likely to be saving for retirement, and likely to be earning more money. That solid kindergarten foundation set them on a road to success.
What you do every day in the classroom, in the hallways, on the playground makes children's lives better, now and in the future. That's a profession to be proud of!"
